The non-stick lining of the ultra-hard titanium oxide base will last up to 40 times longer than traditional non-stick linings. The base consists of 87% aluminium and 13% titanium oxide. The special ULTRA TITAN non-stick coating is sprayed onto the ultra-hard base in three stages, and penetrates into the pores of the ceramic compound at a temperature of approx. 420°C (788°F).

The lid carries the Thermocontrol, a special instrument that follows and checks the process of food preparation, without lifting the lid.
